REBECCA DeLENA


Rebecca DeLena joined the board in 2022. Works as an insurance agent at Shelter Insurance. She been a part of BIONIC since 2006 as a freshman at Green Mountain High School (known as Rebecca Webster). Throughout High School she was a leader for several teams within B.I.O.N.I.C. and helped execute many outreaches. “I have seen firsthand how B.I.O.N.I.C. can change lives. I will stand behind BIONIC and its purpose always. The smallest act of kindness goes a long way, a bigger act goes even further. Together with B.I.O.N.I.C. we can make the world a better place for us and our loved ones both present and future!”

Anthony DeLena

ANTHONY DeLENA


Anthony joined the B.I.O.N.I.C. Board in 2022. He works as an inventory technician and warehouse operator at Coors Distributing Company. He also hosts Movie Music Trivia for his Lyft passengers. Anthony was a Leader for 4 years on the Green Mountain High
School B.I.O.N.I.C. Team. In 2017 at the B.I.O.N.I.C. Reunion, he reconnected with his childhood friend, Rebecca, and they tied the knot in August of 2021. "B.I.O.N.I.C. really does have a way of bringing people together, and I am honored to be able to show the
care and compassion my parents taught me that I practiced in B.I.O.N.I.C.!

Lauren Jones

LAUREN JONES


Joined the B.I.O.N.I.C. Board in 2021. Is the Career & Technical Education Program Director for Special Populations, Counseling, Equity and Middle School within the Colorado Community College System, from which Lauren connects deeply with k-12 educators, staff, and leaders statewide. Degree from the University of Colorado at Denver. “B.I.O.N.I.C reflects the passion that spurred my drive to become a School Counselor and maintain the tenacity to make compassion contagious.”

Lacey McMahan

LACEY McMAHAN


Joined us in 2020 and is the Board Vice-Chair. With her background in IT, Operations, Marketing, and Organizational and Business Development her job as a Project Manager at Children’s Hospital of Colorado allows her to combine her love for driving strategic initiatives forward while delivering value for the Community. Degree from Colorado State University. “I love how B.I.O.N.I.C. teaches emotional intelligence and the power to reach out to peers in times of adversity.”

Marchell Ray

MARCHEL RAY


Is the Board Secretary and is a Founding B.I.O.N.I.C. Board Member. Is the Office Manager at American Liberty Mortgage. Marchel was the PTA President at Green Mountain High School when the B.I.O.N.I.C. Team was founded and helped rally the funding in those original years. She has always been involved with organizations that help young people. Degree from Red Rocks Community College. “I have an extreme passion for this cause and practice the B.I.O.N.I.C. Mission every day.”

USMAN MUYEEB


Usman Muyeeb Joined the Board in 2022. Works as an Americorps VISTA with the Community Resource Center. He helped B.I.O.N.I.C. with social media when he was an Americorps VISTA working for the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center and has become a valued member of the B.I.O.N.I.C. Team family. As an Americorps Vista he gained valuable experience working with nonprofits in several states in helping with many causes. Through his varied experiences, he brings a respected and valued voice in our conversations and strategies in impacting the changing landscape we are living in today.

Sandy Austin

SANDY AUSTIN

Founded the B.I.O.N.I.C. Team in 2004 as a School Counselor at Green Mountain High School after four suicides at GMHS. In 14 years of leading B.I.O.N.I.C Teams at GMHS and Pomona High School, over 1,200 students reached out to 140,000 peers, staff, and families. Started the nonprofit in 2019. Degrees from University of Northern Colorado and University of Phoenix. “These kids started a movement that is spreading around the world, saving lives, and impacting their realms of influence.”
